AHHHHHH! After 10,000 years this new comic is done! It’s time to conquer the internet!

This comic really did feel like 10,000 years in the making because it has the longest development time of any comic. When I started Zelda: Breath Of The Wild back in 2017, as I started learning about the story and the lore, early on I thought, “The backstory with the Champions kinda sounds like Power Rangers…”. Then I learned more about the story and was like, “Yep, it’s Power Rangers, Zords and all”. I began this comic back in 2017. Unfortunately, I got busy, was in a bit of a funk, took a comic hiatus, and worked on this page off and on ever since. Eagle-eyed fans might notice that this comic was subject for my very first Twitch Stream, which I also did for charity to raise money for COVID-19 Relief and Hospitals. I’ve gradually worked on it during quarantine this year until it came out as what you see and hear before you.

While I am a bit annoyed at myself for taking so long making this comic, I find it kind of hilarious that I started this comic years ago and all of a sudden Nintendo announces a new Hyrule Warriors game similar to this concept as a Breath of the Wild Prequel which was released a few weeks ago. Now it’s even more relevant. I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s made the Power Rangers comparison, but I may be the first one to go all out on it like this, so I’m glad I can finally put this Divine Beast to bed. We’re almost out of 2020, so let’s finish it like Champions!

Thank you to my friend Nobunaga Jones for providing the vocals of the song as well as some small tech support from Tyler Freedman for presenting this page. On a side note, I do stream occasionally now, sometimes for Charity, so feel free to follow me on Twitch.

See you next Comic!
