Welcome back to Spark Comics, where we spark it up so you don't have to.
Now that I'm finished my Masters program, have my degree, and I'm on a self-imposed break I have time to make comics and other things. I have a lot of pet projects and TV shows to catch up on in life, but I'm hoping to release comics regularly, at least until the end of the year.
I was actually one of the youngest people in my Master class. Most of my peers were way older than me. This wasn't a disadvantage though as I far knew more about technical and production aspects than most of my classmates. One subject I knew more about than anyone was video games, and even though video games are oly a small part of what I actually do, I came to be known as the "game guy" to my classmates. I guess I can understand that considering my thesis project was a video game.
This story happened around this time last year with one of my friends in the Masters Program. Now let me make this clear: she is a very intelligent person, very wise, a good parent, and has helped me out a lot over the past year. That being said, she does not know a lot about video games so I do understand her confusion. I also understand her desire to get safe games for her kids as my parents did the same when I was little and I honestly think it was a good thing, for the most part. That being said, as a person who knows games very well, I couldn't help but find this quite hilarious.
It's good to be back. See you next comic!
